General |
Located
on the promenade of Naama Bay, the Marriott
hotel is devided up into two parts that are devided by the
main street of Sharm:
the sea view complex (206 beds) and the mountain view complex
(208 beds). Both complexes are waiting to serve with several
restaurants. Guests have a bank
right in front of the entrance and decent service
seems to be provided throughout the stay.
The Marriott lies on the long Na'ama beach right next to other
hotels. This also means, that privacy is only half given.
The advantage, however, is that once can quickly reach Na'ama
Bay, it is in walking distance and that many activities
are being offered, especially on the beach side.

Rooms
are clean, available as smoking or non-smoking.
We recommend to ask for a room that is not ground
floor. Rooms at the mountain view complex
are a bit calmer than at Sea side, but at Sea side
they are closer to the beach and might have a nicer
view, depending on the exact location.

TV
with plenty of international channels, a mini
bar, adapters for power supply
are mostly not necessary, telephone,
and a/c. A safe is avalable in the room
and cleaning personal seems to be honest and well
behaved in terms of valuables.

The
rooms are quiet, but neighbours can sometimes be heard.
Anymation throughout the day is noticable especially
on the beach side.

are well equipped and fine in terms of space; hair
dryer, soap, gel, shower cap and other supply is available.
Shoe polish and sewing kit is also available.

balcony are fine but not extremely big.
It has place for 2 people. The ground floor has an
open terrace, so everyone can see in (mountain view).

The rooms are furnished nicely, while some objects
could be less plastic/metal but more stilish.

Facilities |
| Besides
a fitness area, several swimming
pools on both sides of the hotel complex and
a Spa, there are several facilities offered
on the beach side. Diving
excursions, including diving courses,
excursions with quite a big subsidiary of Sun
& Fun to all kind of places in Sinai
and several sports like kayaking, sailing
and windsurfing are all offered on the
beach. |

Restaurants |
There
is a variety of 9 restaurants to enjoy at
Marriott, 6 at Sea Side, 3 at Mointain site. The food as
well as the ambiente is good and the variety is very sufficient.
Sea View:

Restaurant, Poolside Bar, Piano Bar, Harry's Pub
Mountain View:
